Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account and Audit Executive role based in Indore. The role involves maintaining accounting records, posting entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The team member will support statutory, internal, and tax audits, including reviewing documentation, testing controls, and preparing working papers and audit reports. Daily responsibilities also include assisting with GST-related work such as returns, reconciliations, and basic compliance reviews. The role requires coordination with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and ensure timelines are met, while maintaining organized documentation and adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Audit Reports, including working papers and supporting schedules.
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support audit findings.
- Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), including returns, reconciliations, and basic compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Finance concepts and practical exposure to accounting processes and controls.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel; ability to work with spreadsheets and basic formulas.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or completed professional qualifications (CA/Inter CA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage timelines, and maintain high levels of accuracy and integrity.
