Senior Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint Skills Required Ability to analyse and understand business requirements/user stories Strong knowledge in translating user stories into test scenarios and test cases Strong knowledge in test cases execution: functional, regression and performance Good experience in testing Web-based application Ability to understand and test REST Web services/APIs Good experience in defect tracking, bug triage and communicating test results Good experience in working with Agile/Extreme Agile process Knowledge in database testing would be an added advantage Knowledge in Automation preferably Selenium/Java/TestNG Should be able to learn on build execution/versioning tools and concepts, Tools: HP ALM, JIRA, Postman/Advanced REST Client, Selenium WebDriver/Java/TestNG, Any DB tool Role and Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria Prepare and execute test cases UI, REST and DB (if needed) Ensure 100% quality deliverables, Automate the test cases prepared Coordinate with dev team on defect triage, Create/update CoB, MoM within team Actively participate in QA Sprint planning and test design Associate should be able to perform his/her day today execution with minimal guidance Should be able to handle both the manual and automation execution of all the features assigned Flexibility in timings to coordinate with the client and close out thing
