Registration of samples
Barcoding of samples
Check sample integrity and quantity
Accept the sample in the software (system)
Sorting of samples department wise
Coordinating logistic rounds if required
Maintain outsource register with patient details and tests
Check sample integrity and quantity
Fill requisition forms with proper details
Coordinate with logistics of outsourcing tests
Follow up on results
Dispatch of reports
Coordinate between centers for reports and samples
Maintains positive working relationships with the staff & management personnel.
Uses interpersonal skills to support lab customers & promote the success of team members.
Should be flexible with shift timings if required in case of inadequate staff.
Documentation - Ensure all documents and records are maintained & updated on a real-time
basis
Inventory - Ensures adequate stock in the department & proper utilization of reagents &
control material.
Take a physical stock of the department utilities with the help of a Sr. Lab Technician.
Safety - Complies with laboratory safety procedures.
Education - Possess adequate knowledge of instrumentation, theory, and application of
existing tests.
Understanding thoroughly tests and instrument SOPs and implementing the same.
Problem-Solving/Critical Thinking - Reports & resolves technical problems with the help of
Sr. Lab Technician.
