Part-time (10-30 hours/week) opportunities exist. Our staff love the fast-paced environment, varied responsibilities, leadership opportunities, professional growth opportunities, client engagement, and the ability to make a difference in the lives of their neighbors.<br><br> </div><div> <strong>Main Job Duties:<br></strong><br> </div><ul> <li>Perform treatments and administer medications under the supervision of a Veterinarian</li> <li>Assist Certified Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians with procedures as directed</li> <li>Extensive communication with pet owners, such as taking patient histories, reviewing treatment plans, discussing estimates, and visit wrap-ups.</li> <li>Restrain dogs, and cats for examinations</li> <li>Perform laboratory diagnostics using our in-house laboratory equipment</li> <li>Perform x-rays with our digital x-ray machine</li> <li>Maintain a clean environment between patients, including cleaning equipment, exam rooms, surgery suite, treatment area, kennels, runs, and instruments</li> <li>Assist in monitoring stable sedated/anesthetized patients</li> <li>Care for boarded stray animals</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul><div>A commitment to low-stress animal handling is a must.
