Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This role includes managing the configuration processes, coordinating integrations with various systems, and supervising release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The position requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive the evolution of the solution is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of technical strategies with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with data migration, backup, and recovery strategies in relational database environments.
- Ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application requirements.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting database issues to maintain high availability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in PostgreSQL.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
