Accel Pest & Termite Control is hiring Seasonal Mosquito & Pest Control Technicians to support our peak mosquito and pest season. This role is best suited for dependable, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, managing their own route, and consistently meeting expectations with limited direct supervision.
This is a seasonal, full-time role. Permanent employment may be offered at the end of the season for individuals who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and compliance with company and industry standards.
No prior pest control experience is required. However, this role does require professionalism, accountability, and the ability to follow detailed procedures and safety requirements.
Essential Functions

- Perform mosquito control and general pest control services at residential and commercial properties
- Safely apply pest control products in accordance with label instructions, safety standards, and company procedures
- Operate company equipment and tools required to perform mosquito and pest control services
- Drive a company vehicle to and from service locations throughout the assigned route
- Work independently to complete scheduled services within established timeframes
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding services performed and post-treatment expectations
- Accurately document services performed using company software or mobile application
- Inspect equipment and vehicles, and report maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor
- Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and NPMA QualityPro standards
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Regularly work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach during service visits
- Safely lift, carry, and handle equipment and materials commonly used in mosquito and pest control services
- Perform repetitive tasks associated with route-based service work
Key Responsibilities
- Identify pest activity and mosquito breeding areas and determine appropriate treatment methods
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and properly functioning equipment
- Provide professional, courteous customer service at all times
- Represent Accel Pest & Termite Control with integrity and professionalism
Compliance & Eligibility (Required)
Employment is contingent upon meeting the following requirements:
- Successful completion of a background check through Unique Backgrounds in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements
- Ability to meet company insurance eligibility standards, including an acceptable driving record (minimum three years of clean driving history required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and NPMA QualityPro standards
