Hiring: Academic Counselor – EdTech Sales | Student Counseling & Admissions
📍 Location: Andheri East, MIDC (Mumbai)
💼 Experience: Minimum 1 year (EdTech sales experience mandatory)
🔄 Notice Period: Maximum 15 days
💰 Salary Range: ₹6 LPA – ₹10 LPA
🕒 Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
📅 Working Days: Monday to Saturday
🔎 About the Role
We are looking for a driven and student-focused Academic Counselor with solid experience in EdTech sales. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students, support the admissions process, and help drive conversions through effective counseling.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Counsel students on course offerings, fees, curriculum, and career prospects
Manage the complete admissions process, including applications & documentation
Follow up with leads to drive conversions and meet enrollment targets
Conduct online and in-person counseling sessions & presentations
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and interactions
Provide career guidance and support students in upskilling opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to meet intake goals
Stay updated on EdTech and industry trends
Build positive relationships with students and parents
👤 Preferred Candidate Profile
Minimum 1 year of EdTech sales experience (must-have)
Excellent English communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal, customer-handling, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools
Energetic, enthusiastic, and target-driven personality
