Internship in Accounting Operations at Oremus Corporation. Candidates must have to completed at least ACCA ten papers including Financial reporting and financial management Role: Intern-Accounting Internship tenure: 2 Years Work location: Oremus Corporate Services, Corporate office, Hyderabad Mandatory requirement: A minimum of 10 papers completion including finance and accounting papers is mandatory. Job Description Responsible for various daily accounting activities, including AR, AP, GL, etc., Prepare journal entries in accounting software (ERP) Perform month end/year end reconciliations as required Adhere to the SOPs/documentation of all processes Supporting Month end activities i.e., assist in preparing relevant schedules Supporting Team Leads in gathering the information as per client requirement Ensure quality and timely deliverables at all times Work hand in hand with the Team Lead and open to take up new tasks as required Expected Technical Skills Good understanding on the concepts of accounting Confident in working on journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations Understanding of various processes including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Basic proficiency in preparing journal entries, conducting bank reconciliations, and performing balance sheet account reconciliations. Basic understanding of the concepts of TDS, GST Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights. Basic understanding of MS Office (especially MS Excel formulas) Expected Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Capability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with other departments. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial information. Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting practices and technologies. Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions. Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and priorities.
