Role Description
The Academic Counselor-UPSC will be responsible for guiding and supporting UPSC aspirants throughout their preparation journey. Key responsibilities include assessing individual candidate needs, creating customized study plans, monitoring progress, and providing feedback for improvement. The counselor will also assist students in staying motivated, managing stress, and maintaining focus. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Noida, requiring a proactive approach to help candidates achieve their goals effectively.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to provide empathetic and effective mentorship.
- Experience with counseling or coaching, ideally in the education sector or for competitive exams such as UPSC.
- Knowledge of UPSC examination structure, including syllabus, planning strategies, exam techniques, and resources.
- Analytical skills to monitor performance data and provide actionable insights to students.
- Ability to manage and motivate students, provide stress management support, and encourage a balanced approach to study.
- Proficiency with digital tools and resources used for study planning, communication, and tracking performance.
- Educational background in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology, or a related field is a plus.
- Passion for education and a strong commitment to supporting the aspirations of UPSC candidates.
