Job Summary


We are seeking a Painter Helper who possesses the ability to safely assist and complete all aspects of work in the painting, surface preparation, finishing, and maintenance of projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and discuss a thorough JSEA prior to each task.
  • Clean and maintain all painting and blasting equipment.
  • Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to      impart specified finish, using abrasive-blasting equipment.
  • Shovels or pours abrasives, such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
  • Mask specified areas of object to protect from abrading reaction.
  • Assist in hose repair and other maintenance of blast/paint equipment
  • Duties require loading parts on racks in enclosed rooms, onto blasting platforms, or into cabinets.
  • Covers surfaces with drop-cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Protects the surrounding environment by adhering to the best management practices associated with task procedures.
  • Sweep work area daily or as needed, to ensure safe work area for all.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 years of relevant experience in preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety standards and proper equipment handling.

These goals must be clearly communicated through their direct reports, with clear expectations while coaching, mentoring and empowering others to achieve the desired results.
  • Conduct periodic quality assessments of HSE processes to aid in their own coaching and mentoring of others demonstrating      ownership of the results for such process implementation.
