Role OverviewAs an SEO Manager at Academically Global, you will be responsible for driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and optimizing website performance through advanced SEO strategies. You will lead on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives, ensuring our content reaches the right audience and ranks at the top of Google SERPs.
You’ll work closely with the content, marketing, and development teams to execute SEO strategies that enhance our brand’s online presence and visibility. Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Implementation- Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve search engine rankings and increase organic traffic.
- Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits to identify new growth opportunities.
- Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, and overall on-page SEO.
- Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and implement necessary changes to maintain high rankings.
2. On-Page & Content Optimization- Work with the content team to create and optimize SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and website copy.
- Implement structured data markup (Schema) and other SEO best practices to improve search visibility.
- Optimize images, videos, and multimedia content for faster loading speeds and better UX.
3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building- Develop and execute high-quality link-building campaigns (guest posts, outreach, broken link building, etc.).
- Manage backlink audits and remove toxic links to maintain a healthy domain authority.
- Build relationships with industry influencers, bloggers, and digital publishers for collaboration.
4. Technical SEO & Website Optimization- Collaborate with the web development team to improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-friendliness.
- Ensure proper website indexing & crawling using Google Search Console and other tools.
- Identify and fix technical SEO issues (broken links, duplicate content, 301 redirects, etc.).
5. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking- Monitor SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on rankings, traffic, and conversion trends with insights & action plans.
- A/B test SEO strategies and optimize based on performance data.
6. Staying Ahead of SEO Trends- Keep up with SEO trends, AI in search, voice search optimization, and Google algorithm updates.
- Experiment with new SEO techniques and strategies to enhance website rankings.
- Attend SEO conferences, webinars, and workshops to stay updated with industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications✅ Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO, preferably in the EdTech, healthcare, or e-commerce industry.
✅ Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO with a strong understanding of Google ranking factors.
✅ Hands-on experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
✅ Strong analytical skills – ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
✅ Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO optimization.
✅ Experience in content marketing, keyword research, and competitor analysis.
✅ Ability to manage link-building campaigns, outreach, and digital PR initiatives.
✅ Familiarity with local SEO strategies, structured data (Schema), and Core Web Vitals.
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
