Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an academic tutor. The academic tutor will provide personalised instruction to students through private classes, with a focus on subjects such as mathematics, English, science (physics, chemistry, biology), economics, business studies, computer science and other relevant academic areas. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering tutorial sessions, tracking students’ progress, and offering constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. The role also involves effective communication with students and guardians to ensure educational objectives are met.
Qualifications
- Experience in online tuition. Edtech Company experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and teaching ability in mathematics, English, science (physics, chemistry, biology), economics, business studies, computer science
- Proficient in Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively
- Adaptability to varying learning styles and the ability to tailor teaching approaches accordingly
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting academic success
- A bachelor's or master's degree in education or a related field, is preferred
- Previous experience in remote teaching or tutoring will be advantageous
