Role Description The Academic Support Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading and overseeing academic support functions across all programs at Simandhar Education. This role involves managing academic operations, coordinating faculty and academic support teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning experiences for students. The Academic Support Head will oversee curriculum implementation, academic scheduling, doubt-solving mechanisms, mentoring support, and performance tracking to foster strong student outcomes and satisfaction. The role includes collaborating with program heads and corporate partners to align academic support with evolving industry and certification requirements, as well as using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. The Academic Support Head will also mentor and develop team members, establish academic support best practices, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance learner success and career readiness.
Qualifications
- Strong Educational Management and Education background, with experience overseeing academic operations and student support in a professional or higher-education environment.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including aligning content and support structures with certification standards and industry requirements.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with learners, faculty, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leading, mentoring, and developing diverse academic and support teams.
- Relevant academic qualifications in education, finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA, EA) are an advantage.
- Experience with data-driven academic decision-making, student performance analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comfort with technology-enabled learning environments and interest in AI-driven education tools and platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to learner success and inclusive educational practices.
