A reputed CBSE school in Dwarka is looking to onboard an Academic Secretary to the Principal to provide high-level administrative, academic coordination, and executive support to the Principal’s Office.
The Academic Secretary will act as a key coordination point between the Principal, staff members, students, parents, and external stakeholders while ensuring the smooth functioning of the Principal’s Office and timely execution of administrative and academic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Principal
• Manage the Principal’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and day-to-day scheduling
• Draft and manage official correspondence, circulars, notices, reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
• Prepare agendas, record minutes of meetings, and ensure timely follow-up on action points
• Coordinate communication between the Principal’s Office and academic, administrative, and external stakeholders
• Screen calls, emails, visitors, and meeting requests professionally and efficiently
• Maintain confidential files, records, reports, and documentation related to the Principal’s Office
• Support academic coordination and ensure timely dissemination of information across departments
• Arrange logistics and administrative support for conferences, workshops, inspections, meetings, and official visits
• Assist in preparation of presentations, school reports, policy documents, and institutional communication
• Ensure smooth office functioning while handling sensitive matters with discretion, maturity, and professionalism
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Education, Business Management, or a related field from a recognised institution
• 6–8 years of experience in academic administration, executive assistance, secretarial, or coordination roles
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and coordination abilities
• Strong documentation, drafting, and reporting skills
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, digital communication tools, academic ERP systems, and office management software
• Mature, professional, and process-oriented approach towards administrative responsibilities
