Position - Academic Operations Manager / Sr. Manager / AD – Academic Operations (PhD Mandatory)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, academically driven, and stakeholder-oriented professional to lead and streamline academic operations across postgraduate and doctoral programs. The ideal candidate should possess a PhD and have strong experience in higher education administration, academic planning, faculty coordination, research administration, and institutional stakeholder management. The role involves close interaction with universities, senior academic leadership including chancellors, faculty members, students, and internal teams to ensure seamless academic delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end academic operations for postgraduate and doctoral programs.
- Coordinate academic calendars, timetables, course scheduling, examinations, evaluations, and program execution.
- Ensure smooth delivery of curriculum and academic processes for aspiring students.
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency and academic workflows.
- Generate academic MIS reports, dashboards, and operational analytics.
- Support invoice generation, documentation, and coordination related to academic programs.
Faculty & University Coordination
- Collaborate with universities, faculty members, academic councils, and institutional leadership for academic planning and execution.
- Interact with university stakeholders including chancellors and senior academic representatives.
- Coordinate faculty onboarding, workload allocation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Support research initiatives, publications, academic collaborations, and institutional partnerships.
Student Academic Management
· Guide and support students participating in academic programs.
· Handle academic grievances, disciplinary matters, student escalations, and academic counselling coordination.
· Ensure adherence to academic policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder & Internal Team Management
- Coordinate with internal teams including admissions, operations, finance, academics, and program delivery teams for seamless execution.
- Act as a bridge between universities, faculty, students, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely communication, documentation, and reporting across all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in any relevant discipline (Mandatory)
- Master’s degree with strong academic credentials
- 10–15 years of experience in academic administration or academic operations
- Experience working with universities, higher education institutions, EdTech, or research organizations preferred
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills
