Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology (NCET), established in 2001 under the Nagarjuna Education Society in Bengaluru, is an autonomous institution affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for the role of Academic Dean, based in Bengaluru. The Academic Dean will oversee and manage academic programs, ensure compliance with educational standards, lead curriculum development, supervise faculty performance, collaborate on program development, and promote a culture of academic excellence on campus. The role also involves developing policies, driving innovative practices, and fostering student and faculty success.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Curriculum Development and Program Development
- Strong leadership and management experience in Academic Administration and Educational Leadership
- In-depth knowledge of higher education standards, policies, and best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Significant experience in education, teaching, or academic roles
- Ph.D. in Engineering/Science with teaching excellence
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different levels
- Academic leadership, UGC/AICTE compliance knowledge
- Coordinate with departments and VTU, AICTE, UGC, NAAC, NBA
- Leadership in an autonomous institute
