Role Description
The Academic Counselor - WFO is a full-time, remote role responsible for guiding students and parents through academic planning and progress. This includes conducting comprehensive student counseling, providing tailored academic advising, offering career counseling support, and effectively communicating course options and learning pathways. The counselor will work closely with students to address their academic goals, guide them through course selection, and ensure a positive learning experience. A primary part of the role includes identifying the needs of learners and providing guidance to help them excel academically and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging effectively with students and parents
- Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education strategies
- Ability to establish meaningful relationships and inspire trust in students and families
- Experience in the edtech or education sector is an added advantage
- Degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a passion for student success
