Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Devanahalli. The Academic Counselor will assist students in making academic and career decisions by identifying their strengths, interests, and educational goals. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, providing guidance on course selections, and supporting students in planning their career paths. The role will also involve addressing student concerns and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Collaboration with faculty and other staff to ensure student success is also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students and provide guidance
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education to mentor students towards their academic success
- Ability to build rapport with diverse student populations and provide empathetic support
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of educational and career pathways is an added advantage
