Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will engage with students and their families to provide guidance on educational goals, recommend suitable academic programs, and assist in academic planning and decision-making. The role involves empowering students to reach their potential by tailoring learning recommendations to their skills and interests. Daily tasks include counseling students, conducting one-on-one academic advising sessions, implementing student support plans, and collaborating with other team members to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students towards achieving their academic and career aspirations
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills for clear and effective interaction with students, parents, and team members
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education to provide tailored support and strategic academic plans for students
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in an academic counseling or educational role is a plus
