Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will guide students in their academic and career pursuits by providing personalized counseling, academic advising, and career-related support. Responsibilities include assisting students with course selection, addressing academic concerns, identifying career pathways, and communicating with students, parents, and educators to ensure their goals are met.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to provide tailored advice and guidance.
- Proficiency in Academic Advising to support academic goals and course planning.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Knowledge of Education systems and processes to provide informed and reliable assistance.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in educational institutions or similar roles is an added advantage.
