Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Academic Counselor focused on Student Admissions. The Academic Counselor will guide prospective students through the admission process, provide academic advising, and assist with career counseling to help students achieve their educational goals. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing academic qualifications, addressing inquiries from students and guardians, conducting counseling sessions, and collaborating with educators to align students with relevant programs. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the academy's course offerings and admission requirements.
Qualifications
- Skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively on academic and professional pathways
- Strong Communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students and guardians
- Expertise in Academic Advising and Education to provide accurate and personalized guidance
- Empathy, problem-solving, and organizational skills to address student needs and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
- Experience with student admissions or counseling roles is preferred
- Passion for education and dedication to helping students achieve their goals
