Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Shivamogga. The Academic Counselor will provide guidance and support to students in their academic journeys, assisting them in course selection, career counseling, and identifying educational opportunities. The role includes regular communication with students, offering tailored advice based on individual goals, and collaborating with staff to ensure a supportive learning environment. An emphasis will be placed on fostering student success and helping them achieve their academic and career objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents
- Knowledge or experience in the field of Education, with an understanding of academic pathways
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Education, Psychology, or a similar field
- Experience in a counseling or academic advisory role is a plus
- Empathy, patience, and commitment to student success and personal growth
