Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will provide personalized student counseling, guide students in making educational and career-related decisions, and offer academic advising to help students achieve their goals. They will communicate effectively with students and support them in navigating educational challenges while ensuring they are aware of available resources to improve their academic outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to assist students in academic and career planning
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and educational staff
- Proficiency in Academic Advising to guide students in achieving their academic and professional objectives
- Background in Education to better understand academic programs and student needs
- Experience or certifications in counseling or academic guidance are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with students and provide empathetic support
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
