Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Tirunelveli. The Academic Counselor will guide students and their families in making informed decisions about their academic paths, helping students identify their interests and capabilities. Key responsibilities include providing personalized counseling, offering career and academic advising, and facilitating educational resources to align with students’ needs and aspirations. The role requires effective communication, empathy, and a passion for education to support student success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students on their academic and professional journeys
• Strong Communication skills to clearly and effectively convey information and provide support
• Experience in Academic Advising and education sectors, with a focus on helping students identify and achieve their goals
• Understanding of educational systems and resources to ensure well-rounded guidance
• Empathy, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students and their guardians
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• Prior experience in academic counseling or a similar role is advantageous
