Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Visakhapatnam. The Academic Counselor will engage with prospective and current students to provide guidance on academic programs, career paths, and skill-building opportunities. They will assist students in understanding course offerings, help them make informed decisions about their education, and support them in pursuing their goals. The role requires excellent communication and advising skills to foster strong relationships with students and help ensure their academic success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide individuals in choosing relevant academic and career paths.
- Strong skills in Communication and Academic Advising to effectively support and engage with diverse groups of students.
- Familiarity with the Education sector and ability to provide insights into emerging trends and opportunities in IT and career development.
- Empathy, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a student-focused approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred; certifications in relevant areas are an advantage.
