Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in Haridwar. The Academic Counselor will guide and support students in their academic and career journeys by offering personalized counseling and advice. The role includes evaluating students' skills and goals, providing tailored academic pathways, delivering guidance sessions, and assisting in identifying career opportunities. Collaboration with educators and tracking students' progress will be essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to support learners in building education and career paths
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educational institutions
- Experience in Career Counseling and guiding students toward suitable career opportunities
- Understanding of Education systems and strategies for skill and academic development
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple student cases effectively
- Empathy and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in career development are advantageous
