Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor, based in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for offering personalized student counseling, providing career guidance, and assisting with academic advising to help individuals navigate their educational and professional paths. Key responsibilities include understanding student needs, recommending resources or programs, and delivering support to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to actively listen and provide clear guidance
- Knowledge and experience in Academic Advising and Education principles
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with educational programs and career pathways
- Relevant certifications or a degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is advantageous
