Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor, located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Academic Counselor will guide students in selecting appropriate programs to align with their academic and career goals. Daily responsibilities will include counseling prospective students, providing career advice, assisting with academic planning, and addressing concerns related to education paths. As a primary point of contact, the counselor will ensure a supportive and informed enrollment experience for students.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Student Counseling, Academic Advising, and Career Counseling
- Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students and peers
- Experience or knowledge in the Education sector and academic program structures
- Ability to provide customized guidance based on individual student needs and aspirations
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on student success and satisfaction
- Previous experience in educational counseling is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field; advanced education is a plus
