Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor, located in Nagpur. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students regarding their academic and career goals. Key responsibilities include meeting with students for counseling sessions, offering career advice, assisting in academic planning, and ensuring students are on track to meet their educational objectives. Collaboration with educators and parents to enhance student success will also be a critical part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively
- Strong Communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and educators
- Experience in Academic Advising and understanding of educational best practices
- Background in Education or a related discipline
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate and encourage students
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in academic or career counseling is a plus
