Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Academic Counselor role based in Pune City. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students in their academic paths by providing career counseling, academic advising, and personalized support. Daily tasks include meeting with students to discuss educational goals, offering advice on course selection, and connecting students with resources to aid their education and career development. The individual must ensure effective communication with students and their families to address questions and challenges.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide and support students in achieving their academic and professional aspirations
- Strong Academic Advising and Education knowledge to provide well-informed advice on curriculum and career options
- Exceptional Communication skills to engage with students, families, and colleagues effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a student-first approach
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple student cases
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (a Master's degree is a plus)
- Prior experience in counseling or academic advising is preferred
