Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Advisor located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. As an Academic Advisor, you will provide tailored academic and career-related guidance to students, offer support in planning their educational journeys, and ensure alignment with their career goals. Your responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, guiding students in selecting academic programs, collaborating with teachers for curriculum alignment, and being a trusted resource for student success and well-being. You will work closely with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders to foster a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Academic Advising and Student Counseling
- Experience in Career Counseling and guidance in educational paths
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and educators
- Knowledge of the education system and related best practices
- Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact in the field of education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Experience working in an academic or educational setting is preferred
