We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Academic Counselor to join our team at Vedantu. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in EdTech sales and student counseling, who are passionate about driving meaningful academic outcomes while consistently delivering on business targets.
As a key contributor, you will be responsible for engaging with students and parents, understanding their academic needs, and guiding them toward the right K-10 learning solutions through a structured and consultative sales approach. The role demands a proven ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles, build trust with stakeholders, and achieve consistent conversion performance in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for individuals who bring strong communication skills in Hindi and English, a deep understanding of the K-10 segment, and a track record of success in target-driven roles within the EdTech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold calling to prospective students and parents
- Handle inbound & outbound inquiries for K-10 programs
- Provide accurate information about courses, fees, and offerings
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to conversion
- Achieve weekly and monthly targets
- Maintain records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
- Share daily/weekly reports with the Team Leader
- Assist students in making informed academic decisions
Requirements:
- Graduate (Bachelor’s degree) with minimum 2 years of experience in EdTech / education sales
- Strong knowledge of the K-10 segment and student requirements
- Proven experience in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience in cold calling and end-to-end sales conversion
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (mandatory)
- Strong negotiation, objection handling, and reporting skills
- Laptop is mandatory
Work Details:
- Working Days: 6 days/week
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Bangalore (On-site)
