Role: Academic Counsellor – Specular LearningAbout the RoleWe are looking for an Academic Counsellor to manage lead conversion for Specular Learning’s mastery programs.
This is a volume-driven, inside sales role focused on converting inbound and mixed leads into learner enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and engage with leads shared by management and other channels.
- Understand learner requirements and explain course structure, outcomes, and benefits
- Qualify leads and guide them through the sales funnel (lead → closure)
- Conduct course discussions / demos (if applicable)
- Follow up consistently to drive timely closures
- Update lead status, follow-ups, and closures in the sales tracker
- Work closely with operations and learning teams to ensure smooth batch onboarding.
Skills & Expertise Required
- 1–2 years experience in inside sales / education sales / tele-sales (preferred)
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Comfortable with high-volume calling and follow-ups
- Ability to explain offerings clearly and handle objections
- Basic understanding of CRM or Google Sheets (training will be provided)
- Result-oriented and disciplined with follow-ups
Compensation- Fixed Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Incentives: Performance-based incentives linked to closures / batch completion
- (Up to ₹30,000 fixed can be considered for candidates with relevant experience)
