Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor / Business Development Executive at BIA's Sholinganallur, Chennai campus. The responsibilities include engaging with prospective students to provide career counseling and guide them through course selection. The role will also involve addressing academic inquiries, conducting student assessments and follow-ups, and assisting in the promotion and expansion of BIA’s programs to grow the student base. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to the campus’s growth objectives is a key aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising
- Strong Communication skills to connect effectively with students and stakeholders
- Experience or understanding of the education and training landscape
- Prior experience in business development or similar roles in the education industry is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field
- Experience in high ticket course like Data science and Cybersecurity, selling is preferred
