Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor, based in Chennai. The Academic Counselor will assist students in identifying suitable academic and career pathways by offering personalized advice and addressing their concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, guiding students through university selection and application processes, providing support for visa applications, responding to inquiries, and ensuring students are well-prepared for their study abroad journey.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising
- Skills in Career Counseling and understanding of education systems abroad
- Strong Communication skills for effectively addressing student inquiries and concerns
- Knowledge of international education processes, including visa and application guidelines
- Empathetic and detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Prior experience in student counseling or a related domain is a strong asset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
