Academic Counsellor

We're looking for an Academic Counsellor who genuinely loves helping people find the right path — someone who can guide aspiring and working teachers through our programmes with clarity, warmth, and follow-through.
What you'll do

Engage with inbound and outbound leads — understand their background, goals, and career stage — and recommend the right Teachifyy programme
—
Guide enrolled learners through their programme journey — resolving doubts, addressing concerns, and keeping them on track
—
Own your pipeline — follow up consistently, maintain accurate CRM records, and hit enrolment targets
—
Work cross-functionally with content, operations, and product teams to share learner feedback and improve the experience
—
Represent Teachifyy at outreach events, webinars, and college connect programmes where relevant
What we're looking for
—
1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, education, or a related field
—
Strong communication skills — you listen well, explain clearly, and build trust quickly
—
Genuine interest in education and teacher development — you care about the people you're advising, not just the conversion
—
Comfortable with targets, follow-up cadences, and working in a fast-paced startup environment
—
Proficiency in Hindi and English; regional language knowledge is a plus
Nice to have
—
Background in B.Ed, education management, or early childhood education
—
Prior experience at an EdTech platform
—
Familiarity with CRM tools and basic reporting
