Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati for an Academic Counsellor. The Academic Counsellor will provide guidance to students and their families regarding educational and career choices. The role involves conducting individual and group counseling sessions, offering tailored academic and career advice, collaborating with educators and stakeholders, developing personalized education plans, and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
Qualifications
- Competence in Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educators
- Knowledge of Education systems and career pathways
- Empathy and active listening skills to understand and support student needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain professional relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Career Counseling, or a related field
- Previous experience in an academic advisory or counseling role is an added advantage
