Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counsellor role based in Kolkata. As an Academic Counsellor, you will work with students to guide them in making informed educational and career decisions. Responsibilities include providing academic advising, offering career counseling, assisting students in selecting appropriate courses, and resolving academic challenges. You will also foster effective communication to understand and address the needs of students, ensuring a supportive and productive learning experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students
- Experience in Career Counseling and guiding students toward their professional goals
- Understanding of the education sector and familiarity with academic programs
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Empathy, patience, and a student-focused approach to problem-solving
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
