Academic Counsellor

Salary: ₹15,000 -₹20,000/month + performance-based incentives

Key Responsibilities
Respond to student inquiries via WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn & calls
• Guide students about:
- Studying in Japan
- MEXT & other scholarships
- JLPT (N5/N4) programs (Kihon)
- mentorship programs offered by JWA
• Convert leads
• Conduct 1-on-1 counselling calls with students
• Follow up with interested leads regularly
• Maintain proper records of leads and conversations
• Identify potential leads from social media platforms
• Coordinate with internal team for smooth onboarding
Requirements
Strong communication skills (Hindi + English)
• Confident personality with good speaking ability
• Interest in sales / counselling / education sector
• Ability to handle multiple conversations professionally
• Basic understanding of Japan opportunities (preferred, not mandatory)
• Self-driven and target-oriented mindset
Training
15 days onsite training (mandatory) before starting
• Training includes:
- Understanding Japan pathways
- process & lead handling
- Program details (Kihon + FS27)
Compensation- • Fixed salary ₹15k-₹20k Range depending on experience and performance + lead based incentives
• High performers can earn significantly more through conversions
