Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to manage the student admission process and provide personalized guidance to prospective students and parents. The role involves counselling, lead conversion, and ensuring a smooth and supportive admission experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programs, eligibility criteria, and career options.
- Handle walk-ins, inbound/outbound calls, and digital leads to achieve admission targets.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to help students choose suitable courses.
- Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, interactions, and admissions in CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, academic, operations) for a seamless admission process.
- Provide timely responses to student queries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Build strong relationships with students to enhance satisfaction and trust.
- Stay updated on courses, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- 4– 10years of experience in admissions, counselling, or education sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented with a positive and result-driven approach.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple students and enquiries simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Enthusiastic, empathetic, and student-centric mindset.
