Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counsellor, located in Mettuppalaiyam. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for providing guidance to students about courses and career opportunities, assisting them in making informed decisions about their education, and supporting their academic growth. Key responsibilities include conducting counselling sessions, resolving queries, maintaining accurate records, and working closely with internal teams to meet enrollment objectives. Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centric approach are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in student counseling and career guidance, including identifying student needs and providing personalized solutions
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate student records and documentation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in handling admissions and enrollment processes
- Organizational and problem-solving skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Fluency in spoken and written English; additional regional languages are an advantage
- Experience in educational institutions or similar roles is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Psychology, or a related field
