Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Academic Counselor, located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and parents through available academic and career pathways, providing insights into various educational opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating student needs, offering personalized advice, assisting with application processes, coordinating with educational institutions, and maintaining accurate student records.
Qualifications
- Counsel students on study abroad and domestic education opportunities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to guide prospective students
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses/programs
- Convert inquiries into enrollments through effective counseling and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and applications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Requirements
- Prior experience in academic counseling (study abroad and/or domestic) preferred
- Strong convincing and sales skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory
