Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Academic Counselor, located in Bengaluru. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding students and parents through available academic and career pathways, providing insights into various educational opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating student needs, offering personalized advice, assisting with application processes, coordinating with educational institutions, and maintaining accurate student records.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Knowledge in academic counseling, including career guidance and educational pathways
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student accounts and deadlines
- Proficiency with data tracking and record-keeping systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Understanding of the education system, both local and global, is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
