Role Description
This is a contract-based remote role for an Academic Counselor. The Academic Counselor will engage with prospective and current students, offering support and guidance on academic programs and career opportunities. Responsibilities include providing personalized counseling, offering advice on program selections, and facilitating smooth enrollment processes while addressing individual student concerns to enhance their academic journey.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide individuals in their academic and career growth
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of students and stakeholders
- Experience in Academic Advising and Education to provide strategic program recommendations and support
- Ability to build rapport, maintain professionalism, and handle sensitive matters with confidentiality
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Human Resources, or related field
- Prior experience in a similar educational or counseling role is a plus
