Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Academic Coordinator to manage academic operations at the grade level and ensure excellence in curriculum delivery, academic results, and parent satisfaction. The candidate should be academically strong with excellent coordination and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage grade-level academic delivery and administration effectively.
- Ensure high standards of academic performance and student discipline.
- Coordinate with central academic teams to implement curriculum guidelines.
- Monitor teaching staff engagement and ensure timely completion of academic tasks.
- Ensure compliance with academic processes and policies set by the board and management.
- Support the Principal in implementing academic policies and updates.
- Manage and supervise school events such as PTMs, parent orientations, student competitions, and school functions.
- Oversee execution of curricular and extracurricular programs.
- Handle parent concerns and ensure positive parent engagement.
- Maintain proper documentation related to student performance, discipline, and academic records.
- Mentor and guide teachers to deliver quality teaching aligned with curriculum philosophy.
- Work with HR to recruit teaching staff and support teacher induction programs.
- Ensure adherence to school policies and create a positive work environment for staff.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage academic teams and drive performance.
- Strong coordination and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic school environment.
- Familiarity with digital/online learning platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in academics.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Coordinator / Supervisor / HOD / Lead Teacher / Examination Head / Head Teacher.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Passion for education and academic excellence.
