Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Academic Content Creator specializing in Science for grades 6th to 8th. Responsibilities include developing high-quality educational content, conducting research on curriculums, designing engaging lesson plans, and creating quizzes, assignments, and presentations. The role also entails reviewing and updating existing materials to ensure they meet academic standards and adapt to different learning styles.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Science concepts for grades 6th to 8th.
- Experience in content creation, including lesson planning, assessment design, and resource development.
- Research and analytical skills for curating quality educational material.
- Excellent writing and editing skills for clear, engaging, and error-free content delivery.
- Proficiency in digital tools like olabs and phetlabs for creating audio-visual learning resources and presentations.
- Background in education, specifically in teaching or curriculum development, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure accuracy in content delivery.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field preferred.
