Job Description – Academic Associate

Role Overview
The Academic Associate supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of academic programs while ensuring a seamless learning experience for students. The role involves collaborating with faculty, students, and academic leadership to manage curriculum delivery, academic operations, student engagement, research initiatives, faculty coordination, and institutional events, while upholding TDV's academic standards and pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate curriculum planning and academic delivery in collaboration with faculty.
· Support dissertation planning, mentoring, and milestone tracking for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
· Manage academic calendars, timetables, jury schedules, grading timelines, and other academic operations.
· Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and engagement, while providing necessary academic support.
· Maintain accurate academic records, course documentation, reports, and institutional archives.
· Coordinate faculty onboarding, meetings, development initiatives, and academic alignment.
· Support research, publications, and documentation related to TDV's pedagogy and curriculum.
· Assist in planning and executing academic events, exhibitions, juries, and institutional initiatives.
· Represent TDV in admissions, outreach activities, and external academic engagements as required.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth functioning of academic programs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design from a recognized institution. Graduates from NIFT or NID are preferred.
· 1–5 years of experience in academics or Industry.
