Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Academic Advisor position located in Bengaluru. The Academic Advisor will be responsible for guiding and counseling students regarding academic and career decisions, offering personalized support in selecting courses, identifying career interests, and planning academic pathways. The role involves delivering high-quality academic advising while effectively communicating with students, faculty, and stakeholders to ensure aligned education and career goals. The candidate will also assist in resolving academic challenges and ensure students successfully meet their objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support students in their educational and professional journeys.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience or proficiency in Academic Advising to help students set and achieve their academic objectives.
- An understanding of Education systems and career pathways to provide comprehensive advice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
- Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills to effectively address student concerns.
- Familiarity with educational tools, platforms, or student management systems is an advantage.
