Role Description
The Academic Advisor will support students and their families through academic planning, course selection, and career guidance, ensuring alignment with their educational goals. Responsibilities include counseling students regarding academic challenges, recommending appropriate resources, and coordinating with educators and tutors to ensure student success. The advisor will also maintain accurate student records, prepare progress reports, and provide timely feedback. This is a full-time role based on-site in Gurugram, requiring close collaboration with students, parents, and stakeholders to foster an optimal learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and educators.
- Experience in academic planning, advising, and knowledge of K-12 education systems, including CBSE, ICSE, and IB/IGCSE boards, is preferred.
- Proficiency in organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic familiarity with technology and tools used for education management and academic resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically and personally.
- Experience in collaborating with diverse populations and maintaining confidentiality.
