Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for an Academic Advisor. As an Academic Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding students in their academic planning, career options, and decision-making regarding higher education in Germany. Key responsibilities include consulting students on suitable programs and universities, assisting with the admission process, providing information on visa procedures, and maintaining consistent communication with students and partner institutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring students are well-informed and prepared for their educational journey.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide applicants through educational and career pathways
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and partner institutions
- Experience in Academic Advising with knowledge of education systems and study programs
- Understanding of the education sector, including academic requirements and admission processes
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in multiple languages or familiarity with German is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Prior experience in the overseas education consultation industry preferred
